  • All patients visits are by appointment only
  • *On Wednesdays we typically do not open our doors until 9am (We do have an occasional Wednesday that we will open at 8am)
  • Outside of regular office hours, calls automatically go to our answering service
  • On weekdays during lunch from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, calls are automatically transferred to our answering service

  • Can my child be seen on weekends or holidays?

    Yes. We see sick children and newborns every day of the year except Christmas, by appointment. Call 919-781-7490 to reserve a time, or check Today at RCAM to see which office is open today.

  • How do I make an appointment?

    Schedule online anytime, or call during office hours. Sick children can usually be seen the same day, and calling right after we open at 8:00 AM gives you the best choice of times.

  • What should I do if my child is sick after hours?

    Call our main number. When the office is closed, your call goes to our after-hours nurse line, which can help you decide whether your child needs care tonight or can wait until morning. The service is free for RCAM families. Please save routine requests like appointments and prescription refills for office hours. 


    For emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest ER.

  • Can I ask a question without calling?

    Yes. Send a non-urgent message through the patient portal, or try our Symptom Checker and Medicine Dosages guides. During office hours, our phone nurse is also available for routine questions.

  • Can I visit either office?

    Yes. Both offices share the same phone number, patient portal, and medical records, so you can book whichever location and day works best for your family.

Located near Rex Hospital at the corner of Duraleigh Road and Edwards Mill Road in Raleigh, this office operates during regular business hours and during afterhours on weekday evenings and on Sundays.
