Pediatrician Appointments in Raleigh
Scheduling An Appointment
To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits. If you are later than 10 minutes for your appointment, we will try to work you back into the schedule, or perhaps offer an appointment to you with another provider.
Out of courtesy to our other patients, we may be forced to ask you to reschedule your appointment.
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can schedule online 24/7, or call us at 919-781-7490 during office hours. Our phones are least busy right after we open at 8:00 AM. Please note that our front desk is closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30 PM.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We schedule all visits so we can keep wait times short. If you walk in without an appointment, we'll do our best to fit your child in, or ask you to come back later in the day when the schedule allows.
Can my sick child be seen today?
Yes, in almost every case. We make every effort to see sick children the same day you call, so please call ahead rather than walking in. We're also open for sick visits on weekends and holidays, every day except Christmas. See after-hours and weekend care.
What if my child has an emergency during office hours?
Call us right away. We'll do our best to see your child immediately or direct you to the right facility. For life-threatening emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
How far in advance should I schedule a well visit?
We recommend calling about 3 months ahead so you can see your child's primary care provider on the date that works best for you.
How often does my child need a well visit?
Well visits follow the American Academy of Pediatrics schedule: [newborn; 1, 2, 4, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24 months; 30 months; then once a year from age 3 through 21]. These visits are one of the most important ways to keep your child healthy, and a great time to ask questions. Learn more about well-child visits.
What happens if I'm running late?
If you're more than 10 minutes late, we'll try to work you back into the schedule or offer a visit with another provider. Out of courtesy to other families, we may need to ask you to reschedule.
What should I bring to my appointment?
Please bring your child's insurance card and be ready to pay your copay. A card on file is required. See insurance and billing information.
