RCAM Vaccine Policy
For those still not convinced:
To be clear, we recommend the unchanged vaccine schedule as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
For parents who choose not to follow this recommendation, we will require the following vaccines as a minimum:
By 12 months old:
- Up to date with Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis (DTaP) vaccine (3 doses)
- Up to date with Pneumococcal (Prevnar) vaccine (3 doses)
- Up to date with Haemophilus influenza type B (HIB) vaccine (3 doses)
- Up to date with Polio vaccine (3 doses)
- Up to date with Hepatitis B vaccine (3 doses)
By 15 months old, up to date with all above vaccines and:
- Up to date with Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR) vaccine (1 dose)
By 24 months old, up to date with all above vaccines and:
- Up to date with DTaP vaccine (1 additional dose)
- Up to date with Pneumococcal (Prevnar) vaccine (1 additional dose)
- Up to date with HIB vaccine (1 additional dose)
- Up to date with Varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccine (1 dose)
By 6 years old, up to date with all above vaccines and:
- Up to date with DTaP vaccine
- Up to date with Polio vaccine
- Up to date with MMR vaccine (2 doses)
- Up to date with Varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccine (2 doses)
By 13 years old, up to date with all above vaccines and:
- Up to date with Meningococcal vaccine
- Up to date with TdaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccine
