It's Memorial Day Weekend, May 23, 24, and 25, 2026
Memorial Day Holiday Weekend Schedule
- Our office will be closed for regular business on Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day Monday.
- Our On Call Pediatrician will be seeing patients at the Duraleigh Office for a limited schedule on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday (Memorial Day).
- There are no ‘walk-ins’ - all visits are by appointment only - if you have a newborn or a sick child and need to be seen in our office, keep reading.
- When developmentally appropriate, patients 3 years and up and their family are asked to wear a mask if having any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or congestion.
- Like a typical RCAM Holiday Weekend, we will be operating our Newborn Clinic and Sick Child Clinic.
Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day Monday
- Duraleigh office: OPEN for weekend hours
- Brier Creek office: closed
- Two ways to make an appointment:
- Call for an appointment: Call 919-781-7490 between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. That is the only time you can call and make an appointment on a weekend or a holiday.
- Online scheduling: Appointments open up for online scheduling on the day of the appointment . Here is the link for online scheduling.
- The On Call Pediatrician, Jen Long, MD, will see patients in our office from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
If you have a Newborn or a Sick Child who needs Assessment
- From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, all calls will go directly to our office.
- Our Saturday, Sunday, and Memorial Day Monday Holiday Clinics will be scheduled from those calls.
- If you think your child may need to be seen in our office, call as soon after 9:00 AM as you can because we have limited appointments and those times tend to get scheduled quickly.
After Hours Calls
- In general, all after hours calls - calls received outside of regular business hours - are handled by our after hours phone nurse triage service.
- This service is for urgent questions about a newborn or a sick child only.
- This service is backed up by our On Call Pediatrician.
