Now until 1:00 PM - Our Nurse Triage service will handle calls about sick children. Call at this time if you have an urgent need regarding the health of your child.
1:00 PM - We will begin taking calls directly from our office. Call after 1:00 PM if you need to schedule, reschedule, or cancel an appointment. Our in office Nurse Triage line will be operating until 5:00 PM
1:30 PM to 5:00 PM - Open for our afternoon session at both Duraleigh and Brier Creek offices
From 5:00 PM until tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 8:00 AM, phone calls go directly to our Nurse Phone Triage service

If you had a morning appointment - if we have not contacted you already, we are trying to so that we can reschedule your appointment because we will not be in the office until later.
If you have an afternoon appointment but you can't make it - please call and let us know so we can reschedule your appointment and use you appointment slot for someone else.
If you have an afternoon appointment and you are still planning to come - just come as already planned, and we will see you at your designated appointment time.

Nurse phone triage is available 24 hours a day for RCAM families who call our general office phone number (919-781-7490). During office hours, our RCAM phone nurse is available for general questions. For urgent concerns that occur after hours and can't wait until our office opens, our after hours phone nurse triage is available at that same number.
The patient portal is another way to ask a question, but please don't use the portal for an urgent, time-sensitive message.
There are resources for general pediatric medical questions available on our website: medication dosages, symptom checker, and medical library.
You can always call and schedule an appointment. We have same-day, open appointment times available everyday when we open our office each morning.
Online scheduling is available. We continue to tweak this evolving option that offers a variety of appointment types.
