Dr. Thomas Sena, M.D.
Dr. Thomas Sena grew up in upstate New York prior to moving
to North Carolina in 1981 to do his residency in pediatrics at
Duke University Medical Center. He completed his residency in
1984 and achieved board certification in pediatrics. Previous to that he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Amherst College, in
Amherst, Massachusetts with a degree in Biology in 1977. He
then earned his M.D. degree from Albany Medical College in
1981. While there he played rugby for four years and was
elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Sena enjoys fishing, gardening, and astronomy in his free time.
He attends Edenton Street United Methodist Church with his
wife, Sandy, and their three children, Jessica, Scott, and Emily.
He serves on the church's Health Care Committee.
