Regular Office Hours
Our office is open and fully staffed on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00 PM except for a lunch break from 12:00PM to 2:00PM. The door opens at 8:00 A.M.
On Wednesday we begin seeing patients at 9:30 AM. The door opens at 9:00 A.M.
The office answers the phone from 8:00AM to 12:00PM and from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. It is only during these "regular hours" that well-child checkups are scheduled. Each day we reserve time for our sick children so that they may be seen that day. We schedule check-ups for children two years and older three months in advance; therefore, please try to anticipate well in advance your needs for camp, school, athletic, and other examinations with a deadline.
Early Morning Walk-In Hours
On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday we take walk-ins from 8:00AM to 8:30AM and we start seeing patients at 8:30AM. On Wednesdays walk-ins are from 9:00AM to 9:30AM and we start seeing patients at 9:30AM. These times are for sick children only. You do not need to call to schedule a walk-in appointment, and you will be seen in the order in which you arrive. ****REMINDER*** These hours are for sick children. Please do not arrive without a scheduled appointment at any other time of the day. Also, please note that our Wednesday hours are different. There will not be a physician in the office until 9:30AM on Wednesdays.
Night's and Weekends
Realizing that parents return from work in the evening and find their children sick, one physician and nurse remain in our office during the early evening hours. Please call as early in the day as possible to discuss your child's condition.
If a child needs to be seen for an emergency on either Saturday or Sunday, arrangements can often be made for the patient to be seen in our office. All phone calls outside of regular weekday business hours go through the answering service. All emergency visits on the weekends and holidays are by appointment only.
Whenever the office is closed a physician is always on call. He/she may be reached by calling the office number (781-7490) or calling the answering service directly at 831-5526. Please tell the service if you have an emergency so that the call can be handled in the most efficient manner.
Observed Holidays
RCAM will be closed on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
